in for Kingswood with a very impressive time of 1:08:36 (46th) (and florescent
hat) - Ross 'Last time I ran cross country was at school' Campbell. I
think he has acquired the 'Eric syndrome' of dumbing down his achievements - A
force to be reckoned with ( we have yet to verify his cycling!) and
with great delight he piped the sped mister 1:08:41 (47) by a few seconds.
Then it was James 'I have had a 7 month break from training, but I want to get
back into it again' Hall in 1:09:32 (58th). His son turned 9 months
today so we will be kind to him! The eel came in 1:12:04 (83) - my excuse was
I was hill training yesterday and then went for a swim. Andy ' I also
did 2 sessions (gym and swim) yesterday and I did not know the course' Bullock
1:13:14 (101). Phillipa ' running as a Hogweed Trotter' Crocker
finished in 1:51:59 (725).
KES A completed Ironman Canada, with an impressive 11th in his age group of 175 M45-49
No of Starters 2100; finish pos 214; awesome time of 10:33:11 (to appreciate his time let me give you this
last years Kit Longest day relay only just managed to get under 10 hours!; Splits swim 1:00:07 :T1 3:11
bike 5:33:04 20.2mph T2 3:44 : run 3:53:07 . mph 8:54 Kes narrowly missed a Hawaii slot by a few places. Final words from the great man '8 slots were available for Hawaii there was no rolling down so no ticket for this years dance'
